AS WHOLESALERS OF POTTERY AND GLASSWARE AFTER TWENTY-FIVE YEARS.

The English Pottery industry has been decimated by the decline in real prices of china ware,
and the intense competition from alternative sources of manufacture in the emerging economies.
The factories of Staffordshire are now almost all closed, and production has almost completely moved abroad.
It is amazing to note that this industry, arguably at its zenith in the 1990's, has now effectively disappeared,
with all the skills associated with it, lost inside one generation.

However, we have not severed our ties with the Staffordshire Potteries.
Rather , we have taken the aspects of the business that are special to the UK
and have started a new business that works with the great strengths
of the largely defunct industry, to produce a vibrant, new business.
